Apropos analogy

One way to contemplate the complex, ancient construct of yin and yang is like you would a rainbow and a prism. One displays distinctions, the other generates them, and they co-operate through a relational bridge phenomena - indistinct light.

Duality of timeless phenomena in the form of real tension (”polarity”) is fundamental to all of existence. It cannot be gotten rid of.

Representationally, tension lends itself to compartmentalization and straightforward relations, which to function well require clarity in relationships (of all types).

The system limitation of tension, and thus yin-yang polarity, is misidentification. To the degree it affects a misidentified referent, it encodes a distortion that affects constraints such as time.

An essential distinction results. Polarities are fundamental, however distorted polarities are not.
