Consciousness | Participatory self-hood via object integration. With reference to the figure here, object integration is the central (vertical) channel and may or may not be true to one’s own awareness or reality model. Consciousness then would refer to all channel-centered activities of all perceptually- and syntactically-coherent channels balancing communications between conditioned (at the top) and disoriented (at the bottom) integrations. Visually, imagine a vertical line passing through the center of the three-tier information summary above. Humans have varying degrees of self-awareness and/or sovereign agency, resulting in experience being distorted so we lose track of the centering intrinsic to our own central channel. This is how consciousness itself can be both ever-present and elusive. |
affordances | Degrees of freedom (from partiality) |
ethics | filling in the gaps when there is missing information; what we do when there is lack of adequate context with which to resolve ambiguity |
Morphic homeostatic field | Systematic balance of ambiguity and temporality characterizable as elementals (earth, fire, water, air) from which communicative and discrete participation and objects arise. It is the way it blends timelines, matter and change that makes it morphic. |
Sovereignty | Composure, objectivity about self, others and existence in such as way that one’s intention graduates from something akin to wishful thinking to part of an internal compass through which one participates … |
obscurity | sense-obscured participation |
